He is the Founding Editor in Chief of NUJS Law Review. He has as well been the Chairperson of the Delhi Judicial Academy. He has as well served as the Director of Indian Law Institute, New Delhi. Prof. Singh is the former Chancellor of Central University of Haryana. He has been a vising professor at several reputed Universities across the world like University of Heidelberg, University of Hong Kong, Kansai University Osaka, National University of Singapore, Institute for Advanced Studies Berlin, Renmin University of China etc. With over 100 publications, he is the Chair Professor, Centre for Comparative Law, NLU, Delhi.

Professor Dr. K.Jaishankar is the Head of Crimology Department at RSU, the 1st Police and Internal Security University. He is the proponent of the space transition theory and the academic discipline - Cyber Crime. He is the Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Cyber Criminology and the International Journal of Criminal Justice Sciences. He is the founding President of South Asian Society of Criminology and Victimology. He is also the International Ambassador to the British Society of Criminology (BSC).
