OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE
Through this Course, we at The LAW Learners wish to impart a dynamic add on to the professional personalities of the TLL Family. Looking into the stark importance of a presentable CV and an undermining interest towards the same, we decided to come up with this course, with the aim and objective to train each course taker as to how to make a presentable, versatile CV and excel in the professional arena.

WHY THIS COURSE?
Many of you might have been thinking, why to take a professional paid course exclusively on CV vetting when there are a plethora of sample CVs and options available, both online and offline. Well to be honest, going back about a few years, when we ourselves were at your place and position, the same ease and casual approach floated through our minds.

We honestly had this backup of taking helps from seniors or faculties in this regard, and as last resort used to be accepting plagiarized means as well. However, trust us, it was only with passage of time and increasing experiences that we started to realize the importance of a TRUE, DECENT, FAIR and ORGANISED CV. To this regard, adding to the ever increasing Internship applications received by TLL, we found students’ CVs to be either gigantically divers, or lacking in organization even if they have a range of appreciable experiences. Save a few cases, the percentage of such resumes made us inquisitive and we presented survey questions to leading organizations, pertaining to the importance of good CVs along with enquiring as to whether a CV actually defines a person’s capabilities prima facie.

WHAT RECRUITERS AND ORGANIZATIONS SAY?
As many as 85% of the organizations including firms, lawyers, academic institutions inter alia answered in affirmative.Through this survey, we categorized their wants and ceilings in following sub heads-

1. CV defines you, who you are irrespective of what you are and where you are.
Wherever you go, your CV acts as the first impression you carry in your professional life. Trust us, many of the deserving candidates are laid off at the very initial stage of selection only because they do not have a well organized CV. Recruiters pay interest towards you, only when at the first place, they find your CV attractive and dynamic. If this is not the case, no matter how potent you are, you have already been stereotyped as a below average or average candidate.

2. A non genuine CV may help at start, but not in the long run.
Another category about which we got to know via the survey is the large presence of non- genuine or plagiarized CVs. There has been a trend of asking help and support from seniors in CV vetting, to the extent of putting in things that are either not fair or overtly exaggerated. Trust us friends, this never helps in the Long Run. We may get an upper hand impression over the recruiters, but it is rightly said, more achievements lead to higher expectations- The more Dynamic your CV is, the more the number of interview questions/ responsibilities you get. Now if the CV which led to this position, stands out to be non- genuine one, chances are high that one cannot stand the work load leading to dismissal in addition to torn professional image. It is hence very important at the same time to include ONLY TRUTH in the resume.

3. Keep it appreciable, but keep it true.
Recruiters say that as many as 45- 50 % of applications are prima facie rejected on the basis of CVs.Out of remaining 55- 50% as many as 30- 35% are not paid considerable interest by the recruiters owing to a stereotype created because of the non-presentable CV. These statistics are enough to present the true picture of the current practical scenario.
Needless to mention, the statistics have already pointed out towards the Dire need of having a good and true CV, which at present is certainly under dearth. Its never about being an NLUite or non NLUite, its always about your potential, experience and how you present yourself. Some may be at upper hand at the onset, but trust us if you have got a CV which speaks for yourself, it shall make little or no difference, as to where do you come from.
